How to Book a Restaurant in Seoul as a Visitor — CatchTable Global, Step by Step
Visitors can book most reservation-based restaurants in Seoul through CatchTable Global (catchtable.net), which runs in English, Japanese and Chinese and lets you sign in with Google, Apple, LINE or an email address. Pick the date, party size and time, then sign in to complete the request — and for Friday or Saturday dinner at popular places, book two to three weeks ahead.
Where visitors book: CatchTable Global
Many sit-down restaurants in Seoul — especially the ones that fill up at dinner — take reservations through CatchTable, Korea's restaurant booking platform. Its international site, CatchTable Global at catchtable.net, shows the same restaurants in English, Japanese and Chinese, so you can see open times and book before you land.
Some Korean-only booking services verify accounts with a Korean mobile number, which is where visitors usually get stuck. CatchTable Global lets you sign in with an account you already have: Google, Apple, LINE or an email address.
Booking step by step
- Open the restaurant's page on catchtable.net and switch the language at the top of the page if needed.
- Tap Reserve, then choose the date, party size and time. Fully booked dates are marked Full.
- Sign in with Google, Apple, LINE or email. On a desktop browser a "Better in the app" prompt may appear — tap Later to carry on in the browser.
- Before you confirm, read the cancellation and change policy shown on the booking screen. Policies are set by each restaurant and differ from place to place.
Practical tips for Seoul
- Book early for weekend dinners. At popular restaurants, Friday and Saturday evenings are the first slots to go — two to three weeks ahead is a safe margin.
- Check the party-size limit. Online booking usually covers small groups; larger parties are often handled by phone.
- If online booking does not work for you, your hotel concierge can call the restaurant on your behalf.
- Save the restaurant's Korean-language address. Taxi drivers in Seoul navigate most reliably from the Korean address.
