What to Order at SEOLYA GALBI — Example Orders for 2 and 4, with Totals
On a first visit, start with the two signatures: Seolya Marinated Galbi (₩57,000 per 100g) and the 26mm Garlic Tenderloin (₩49,000 per 100g). Beef is ordered in 100g units and a dedicated server grills it at your table. Using the example orders below, dinner for two comes to ₩260,000 (₩130,000 per person) and for four to ₩583,000 (₩145,750 per person), before drinks.
How ordering works
- Grilling beef is ordered in 100g units. Side dishes and vegetables come with the meal.
- A dedicated server grills every cut over charcoal at your table from start to finish — you never cook it yourself.
- Starting with the two signatures and adding more as you go is the easiest way not to over-order.
Example order for two
The two signatures, Pear Korean Beef Tartare on the side, and the Special Galbi Soup (galbitang) to finish.
| Dish | Price | Example amount | Line total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Seolya Marinated Galbi | ₩57,000 / 100g | 200g | ₩114,000 |
| 26mm Garlic Tenderloin | ₩49,000 / 100g | 200g | ₩98,000 |
| Pear Korean Beef Tartare (Yukhoe) | ₩29,000 / 150g | × 1 | ₩29,000 |
| Special Galbi Soup | ₩19,000 | × 1 | ₩19,000 |
| Subtotal (before drinks) | — | — | ₩260,000 |
That works out to ₩130,000 per person. The amounts are an example — decide the actual quantities with your server at the table.
Example order for four
The two signatures plus the Top-grade Chuck Flap Tail (unmarinated galbi), so the table can taste marinated and unmarinated galbi side by side. The difference is explained on the galbi page.

Bringing wine, and using a private room
- Corkage is free for the first 1 bottle of wine, then ₩30,000 per bottle. Whisky is ₩50,000 per bottle, and the broken-glass charge is ₩10,000.
- Four guests in a private room pay no room charge (the 4-person room is free for 3–4 guests, the 6-person rooms for 4–6).
- Two or three guests in a room pay a ₩40,000 room charge, waived once the bill reaches ₩400,000 in the 4-person room or ₩500,000 in a 6-person room. The example order for two (₩260,000) would incur it.
